Herndon Pharmacy is made up of an expert team of healthcare and business professionals who have years of experience in the industry. We have a vested interest in the level of service we provide not just for business reasons, but because many of us are hemophilia patients ourselves or have family members who are affected. The Herndon Pharmacy team is dedicated to working as a cohesive unit to provide only the highest levels of care to our patients and their families.

Mark is no stranger to hemophilia. He's lived with it his entire life. Mark has worked in the hemophilia home care business since 1983 and is one of the industry's pioneers. When his business began 25 years ago, there were just a handful of companies providing factor products to patients' doorsteps.

As a lifelong hemophilia patient and advocate, Mark has witnessed many major developments in its treatment. He's experienced the lows of losing many close friends and watching nearly an entire generation of persons with hemophilia pass away due to tainted blood products. However, he's also celebrated major accomplishments, such as the invention of recombinant factor, which effectively eliminated any chance of viral transmission from infusion.

Mark and his wife Julie have been married nearly 25 years. They have two children, Rebecca and Hugo. Like his dad, Hugo also has hemophilia. The family raises cattle, horses and grows table grapes on their ranch in Sanger.

“Herndon Pharmacy was formed to provide a level of service to our community in such a way that I would want for myself. We have built it one satisfied customer at a time and now service a significant portion of the hemophilia population in California.”
